1. Summary / Te Tuhinga Whakarāpoto
1.1 This report includes the consultation document for the draft Long Term Plan consultation. This report is a late item because the audit has taken longer than anticipated.
1.2 It needs to be
adopted now to enable consultation to commence on 28 March 2024.
This, in turn, is required to provide for the one-month minimum consultation
period, hearings, deliberations and adoption of the LTP 2024-2034 by the end of
June 2024 to meet the statutory deadlines under the LGA.
